About me
I am an LSE Fellow in Political Science (postdoc) in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
My research examines the causes of civil war and the early stages of armed mobilisation with an empirical focus on Southeast Asia. In 2025, I was selected as a SEAREG Fellow by the Southeast Asia Research Group (SEAREG) at Duke University.
I hold a PhD in Political Science, an MRes in Political Science, and an MSc in Comparative Politics from the LSE and a BA in Journalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism. Before becoming an academic, I worked as a foreign correspondent in London (for the Danish business newspaper Dagbladet Børsen) and in Southeast Asia.
